The Rick Hansen Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Almond to the RHI Board of Directors. Ben Almond is the Regional Director, Canada at Jacobs a design, engineering, construction and technical services firm that provides innovative end-to-end solutions to their clients. In 2017, Ben was named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40.

As Canadian Regional Director for Jacobs (previously CH2M), a global consulting, design, engineering, and management firm, Ben leads the Canadian infrastructure business in delivering innovative solutions. Ben is a highly accomplished, results-oriented professional with a demonstrated background of effective, proactive leadership. Prior to his current role, Ben served as regional business group manager for CH2M's Water business in Canada, as well as prior leadership roles in their energy and industrial markets. Before joining CH2M, Ben served in program and project management posts with Suncor Energy and Imperial Oil. Ben has overcome professional and personal challenges, including a life-changing accident in 2005 while proving himself as an inspirational leader with strategic vision
